SND

This acronym comes from Fedora Lady.

SND or So Not Dead: No matter what the bloody scriptwriters choose to do to our beloved RA chaRActers, we know they are, in fact, alive and well and ready to entertain us yet another day.

Some of the characters who have achieved SND status are:

Sir Guy of Gisborne from Robin Hood

Lucas North from Spooks/MI-5

John Porter from Strike Back

To see what these SND characters are up to, check out Fedora Lady’s Sloth Fiction. The first installment can be found here.

What is the purpose of this blog?

Richard Armitage fans, do you remember back to when you first discovered this talented actor? Did you join a forum or go in search of blogs? If you did (which is pretty likely if you’ve ended up here) then you probably ran across some words used in an unfamiliar way. Or you encountered an acronym that you didn’t recognize.

In service to new fans (and we are expecting an influx this year), I thought it would be a good idea to compile all those words and acronyms in one place. No more wondering over what TDHBEW means. Just come to The Richard Armitage Dictionary and find out!

This needs to be a group project, seeing as I still don’t know what everything means. So, feel free to suggest words, their definition and of course a corresponding picture (we can’t have an RA dictionary without visuals)!
